KPMP hosts Kidney Anatomy Nomenclature Workshop
Recently, members of the KPMP consortium met with leading experts from other kidney research consortia (GUDMAP/RBK, HuBMAP, and Human Cell Atlas) in Washington, DC to:
- Establish anatomical nomenclature integrating molecular, histological, and physiological criteria that define terms to be used across consortiums.
- Establish anatomy terms for the healthy adult kidney.
- Determine the working process for integrating new terms into the ontology.
The meeting included two days of presentations and workshops.
